BF UV Protective Gloves for Solar Simulation Systems
Professional UV protection for hands and forearms when working under artificial solar radiation
The BF UV Protective Gloves have been specifically developed for use in solar simulation systems, solar simulators, and industrial irradiation systems. They protect the hands, wrists, and forearms from UV radiation and complement the BF UV Protective Coverall to provide a comprehensive UV protection system.
When working inside an active solar simulation system, the hands and forearms in particular may be directly exposed to artificial solar radiation. The BF UV Protective Gloves ensure that these exposed areas of the body are covered with suitable UV protective fabric.
Thanks to their extra-long design, the BF UV Protective Gloves extend towards the elbows. The long cuffs are worn under the sleeves of the BF UV Protective Coverall. This creates an overlap between the protective areas of the gloves and the coverall, helping to provide continuous skin coverage. The gloves are made from elastic fabric and are available in sizes 12 and 14.

The material of the BF UV Protective Gloves consists of 80% polyamide and 20% elastane and can be washed at 30°C.

The UV protective textiles used provide UPF 50+ according to AS/NZS 4399:2017 and are certified according to UV Standard 801 with UPF 80.
The BF UV Protective Gloves are therefore a professional addition to personal protective equipment for applications involving artificial solar radiation and UV exposure.
Note: The BF UV Protective Gloves are intended exclusively for UV protection and light work. They do not replace mechanical, thermal, chemical, or electrically insulating protective gloves. In particular, they must not be used to pick up broken glass.
