Our irradiation systems for climatic wind tunnels are specifically designed for operation under extreme airflow conditions. Their robust construction ensures stable, low-vibration performance even at wind speeds of up to 400 km/h. All components – from the supporting structure to moving systems such as shutters or shading devices – are engineered to withstand high aerodynamic loads over the long term while maintaining their functionality and positioning accuracy. At the same time, the high-performance radiation sources provide uniform and sufficiently high irradiance levels for vehicles, rail vehicles and aircraft, even when the systems must be installed outside the direct airflow field.
