Quality, Compliance and Safety
For us, quality means more than precision manufacturing. It means consistently meeting international standards, regulations and safety requirements throughout the entire development process.
BF Engineering GmbH operates according to a quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001 and has experience with UL-compliant and UL-certified solutions for the North American market. Regulatory requirements for the respective project and target market are taken into account from the very beginning — across mechanical design, electrical engineering and software development.
Standards integrated from the start
Our systems are specifically developed and designed in accordance with the standards relevant to each application. These include, for example, DIN 75220, VDA 230-219, MIL-STD-810, IEC 61215 and IEC 60904-9, as well as customer-specific plant standards and international requirements.
Our engineers and technicians have extensive experience in dealing with technical regulations, machine and product safety, as well as electrical and functional safety requirements. Compliance is therefore not an additional final step, but an integral part of our engineering process.
Documentation and compliance from a single source
BF Engineering also handles the required technical documentation. Depending on the system and target market, this includes CE conformity assessment and EU Declaration of Conformity, risk assessments in accordance with EN ISO 12100, technical documentation, electrical schematics, test and measurement reports, as well as electrical safety testing in accordance with EN 60204-1.
We also support DGUV inspections, UL requirements and customer-specific acceptance procedures, as well as cooperation with external testing and certification bodies.

Our commitment to quality does not end with commissioning. Long-term spare parts availability, retrofit solutions, maintenance and worldwide service ensure that our systems remain reliable, safe and technologically up to date even after many years of operation.
