Our lighting sets can include all components required for operation:

All components are selected according to the respective power class and technically matched to one another. This creates a reliable, high-performance, and easy-to-integrate light source for industrial applications.
BF Engineering offers high-performance HMI and HQI lighting sets for industrial solar simulation, material testing, and irradiation testing. Depending on the required irradiance, test area, and application, different power classes are available.
1,200 W HMI
Compact and powerful HMI light source for smaller test areas and applications with moderate power requirements. Ideal for laboratory applications, material testing, and compact solar simulation systems.
2,000 W HQI
Economical and robust high-power light source for irradiation testing, material testing, ageing tests, and industrial testing applications.
2,500 W HMI
Broadband high-performance light source with a sunlight-like spectral characteristic. Ideal for demanding solar simulation, ageing, and environmental testing applications.
4,000 W HMI
Maximum radiation output for high irradiance levels and larger test areas. Particularly suitable for professional solar simulation systems and demanding industrial test systems.

For professional solar simulation and irradiation testing, the electrical power of the lamp alone is not decisive. The spectral characteristics of the overall system are determined by the interaction of the HMI or HQI burner, reflector, and filter glass.
BF Engineering coordinates these components according to the respective application. By selecting suitable burners, reflectors, and filter glasses, different requirements regarding spectrum, irradiance, and test area can be taken into account.

Upon request, we can supply our lighting sets with a suitable control and software solution. The scope is fully tailored to the respective application – from simple stand-alone operation to integration into complex testing and automation systems.
Possible solutions include Siemens LOGO! controllers, conventional PLC systems, or individually programmed control solutions. Interfaces and signals can also be prepared in advance to allow the light source to be easily integrated into an existing customer control system or test bench.
