The Kipp & Zonen SMP22x is a digital high-end reference pyranometer for particularly demanding and highly precise measurements of irradiance in W/m².

The SMP22x combines an RS-485 Modbus® interface with high-quality quartz glass domes and an exceptionally broad spectral range. This makes it particularly suitable as a reference sensor for test laboratories, solar simulation systems, research, and demanding calibration and comparison measurements.

With a spectral range of 250 to 3,500 nm at the 50% points, the SMP22x covers a significantly broader range than the SMP10x. At the same time, it offers improved directional response and very low thermal influences.
