El sistema fue instalado en 2026 en el centro de desarrollo de Sindelfingen y permite simular de forma reproducible una intensa radiaci\u00f3n solar bajo condiciones controladas de banco de pruebas.\r\n\r\nUna caracter\u00edstica especial de la instalaci\u00f3n es el bastidor de luminarias desplazable. La posici\u00f3n de todo el sistema de simulaci\u00f3n solar puede ajustarse, permitiendo un funcionamiento flexible del banco de pruebas y un acceso \u00f3ptimo para trabajos de mantenimiento y servicio. La robusta construcci\u00f3n fue desarrollada espec\u00edficamente para las exigentes condiciones de un t\u00fanel de viento clim\u00e1tico y est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada para soportar los flujos de aire y las turbulencias que se producen en la instalaci\u00f3n.\r\n\r\nSobre una superficie de referencia de 8 \u00d7 2,5 metros, el sistema genera una irradiancia regulable de forma continua de 400 a 1.200 W\/m\u00b2, con una homogeneidad requerida de \u00b15 %. El espectro global est\u00e1 basado en los requisitos de la norma DIN 75220, permitiendo realizar investigaciones realistas del comportamiento t\u00e9rmico de los veh\u00edculos.\r\n\r\nGracias a la integraci\u00f3n en la c\u00e1mara fr\u00eda, la radiaci\u00f3n solar, el viento de marcha y diferentes condiciones clim\u00e1ticas pueden combinarse dentro de un mismo banco de pruebas. La propia c\u00e1mara fr\u00eda permite adem\u00e1s realizar ensayos sobre banco dinamom\u00e9trico de rodillos, as\u00ed como simulaciones de nieve, lluvia y suciedad.\r\n\r\nDe este modo, Mercedes-Benz dispone de un entorno de ensayo vers\u00e1til para investigar diferentes conceptos de veh\u00edculos bajo condiciones ambientales reproducibles y realistas. El sistema permite especialmente el desarrollo y la validaci\u00f3n de sistemas de gesti\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica, climatizaci\u00f3n y eficiencia energ\u00e9tica de futuras generaciones de
